Wolf Security Solutions provides the security services at the V and A Waterfront. An integral part of the service delivery are the bicycle patrols which requires the security officers to patrol certain areas on bicycles. To sustain these patrols we require serviceable and safe bicycles and equipment. Through our long standing relationship with Leonardo and Alwyn, we approached Flandria to supply well priced bicycles and equipment and then to maintain this equipment through a maintenance agreement. For the past three years the Flandria team has remained focussed on its undertaking to provide Wolf with an unmatched, value-for-money service by providing a qualified bike technician to Wolf and being sufficiently flexible to have that technician travel Cape Town twice a month to undertake the servicing and maintenance of the bikes. We are indeed thankful for the relationship and the ongoing service!

I was first introduced to Flandria in late 2010. I was trying to get sorted with a new bike and was being given the run around by numerous bike shops, all of which simply wanted to sell me a bike, as opposed to first trying to understand my requirements. A friend suggested that I contact Linus at Flandria.

What a breath of fresh air! I clearly remember the first question from Linus – “Why do you want to change the bike that you have?” He gave me unbiased, non bike specific information and once we had narrowed down the options, we concluded that there was nothing wrong with the bike that I had and that I didn’t need to buy another bike. It was the first time that a “seller of bikes” didn’t want to sell me a bike.

This experience has been repeated on numerous occasions over the years when I wanted new wheels, bikes, suspension, etc. The service was always provided with integrity, lack of bias and on a professional level, always taking my riding style and skill level into consideration. Linus has since “retired”, but the legacy he left continues with Leonardo, Alwyn and their staff. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
